Here may be the only piece of jewelry in the world that attempts to capture our universe in such exquisite detail. In this magnificent pendant, we use an artist's logarithmic scale conception of the local region of the universe, with the Solar System at the center, inner and outer planets, Kuiper belt, Oort cloud, Alpha Centauri, Perseus Arm, Milky Way galaxy, Andromeda galaxy, and nearby galaxies.
Our miniature universe is microprinted on a translucent disc within a steel and glass locket. When worn, it looks like a stylized silver steel locket with a dark interior, matching everything. But when you hold it up to the light, incredible detail bursts into appearance. The graphic was created by PabloCarlosBudassi, Mendoza, Argentina (G+, Facebook). The pendant comes on an 18 inch heavyweight steel chain, a longer 26 inches heavyweight steel chain, or an adjustable black leather cord with black ceramic beads.
