          I have exacting tastes in jewelry. I want it to be quirky, well made, and affordable. I am honestly astounded by the quality of Boutique Academia products. I bought the anatomical heart necklace a year ago and wear it at least once a week. The jump rings are sturdy and the chain is robust. I bought the brain slice earrings to match, and they are just the right weight and size. The details of the pieces are astounding. I hope to give this shop much more of my money in the future.

          We have a running joke about two brains and I can't believe these earrings are actually a thing. What makes them even better is that the earrings look exactly how they're pictured. They're not just a mash of squiggles that resembles nothing, no, they look just like brains! Two brains in fact! Well, maybe two halves, but you get the idea. They're very nicely made and I can't wait to give them as a gift to our one an only two brains. The craftsman ship is excellent and they're just the right size. Not too small and not too big and when someone sees them they'll know exactly what they are. So great!

          I love these, though they are a little heavy which makes my ears sore if I wear them all day. Interestingly, they freak out my autistic son who, as soon as he saw them, complained that they are both the same hemisphere.
