On the outside of this delightful bacterium locket pendant you'll see the pili/fimbriae, hook, filament, and flagellum. Open it up and you'll be treated to the interior of a bacterium in intricate detail, with a gram negative bacterium on one side and a gram positive bacterium on the other. Among many other details, you'll find the nucleoid, plasmid, ribosomes, and rotor proteins, with porins on the gram negative side and and a mesosome on the gram positive side.
